Cancellation Policy

• • Cancellation requests must be delivered by email to info@jointla.org no later than April 15, 2026. Cancellations will not be accepted after that date. A $200 cancellation fee will apply.

• • Registrations may be transferred to other individuals within the original registrant’s law firm, company or agency before the event start date.

• • Refund policies may be modified in exceptional circumstances at TLA’s discretion.

Registration Rate Verification
All registrations will be reviewed to confirm eligibility for the selected registration category. If a registrant does not meet the qualifications for the category chosen, they will be notified and required to remit the difference in registration fees to reflect the appropriate rate.

Release & Waiver of Liability
Your registration for this TLA event constitutes express acknowledgement that you are fully aware that physical injury, illness, property loss or damage might occur as a result of participation in the event. Your registration further confirms that you give this acknowledgement freely and knowingly, and that you: (i) assume full responsibility for your own well-being and the well-being of any other family member or guest (“Guest”) who is included in your registration or accompanies you during the event, and for the safekeeping of your personal belongings throughout your participation in the event; (ii) release TLA and all members of TLA’s Executive Committee from any and all liability for property damage, loss, physical injury or illness that you suffer or incur as a direct or indirect result of your participation in the event; and (iii) indemnify TLA and all members of TLA’s Executive Committee from any claims that may be brought by or on behalf of a Guest in connection with any property damage, loss, physical injury or illness that they suffer or incur as a direct or indirect result of their participation in the event.  IN NO EVENT SHALL TLA OR ANY MEMBER OF TLA’S EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES OR LOST PROFITS ARISING OUT OF THIS TLA EVENT. TLA’S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU AND ANY GUEST SHALL NOT EXCEED, IN THE AGGREGATE, THE REGISTRATION FEES YOU HAVE PAID FOR THIS TLA EVENT.

Photo & Video Consent
Your registration for a TLA event constitutes express consent to the rights of your image, likeness and the sound of your voice as recorded on audio or video tape (collectively, your “Image or Recording”), for use by TLA for social, promotional or educational purposes without payment of royalties or any other consideration. Your registration further constitutes express acknowledgement that your Image or Recording may be edited, copied, exhibited, published or distributed by TLA for the above-noted purposes, and waiver of the right to inspect or approve the finished product wherein your Image or Recording appears.

Anti-Harrassment Policy
TLA does not tolerate harassment of conference participants in any form and all conference attendees are to follow the TLA Anti-Harassment Policy.
